Our last name Arvisais is of French ancestry and pronounced R-Vi-Say. We use the rhyming phrase “It’s hard to say Arvisais” as a memory tool. Having a challenging last name is one of the reasons for our A-Team nickname. Our second is based off the 80’s tv show. While the show may have been a little cheesy the concept of an elite team is not. The A-team or Alpha Team symbolized the best of the best, a cohesive unit that functions better as a team than as individuals. As a husband and wife team we approach business with the family mentality. The family succeeds as a team. Our clients succeed because we treat them with the same care we treat our family.

How long have you been interested in real estate?
Since as early as I can remember there was just something about real estate. I’d watch tv shows like This Old House (first aired in 1979) and HomeTime while critiquing the hosts and telling my parents what they were doing right and wrong. As I got a little older I’d walk through different phases of new construction imaging where things would go and designing layouts in my head. I knew very early that I would have a career that was somehow impacted by real estate.
Career path and education.
I grew up in Connecticut through the boom of the 80’s which added to my real estate interests. I followed that path in school earning a BS in Real Estate Management. As a numbers guy I started my career in finance as a Lending Analyst with Lexus Financial Services. I felt understanding the mortgage and lending markets would allow me to better represent my clients interest. After about five years I transitioned to full time real estate agent and then broker. I spent 10 years selling hundreds of homes in Connecticut before a family illness forced a temporary career change. In early 2011 I relocated to NW Arkansas joining Walmart’s Home Office where I worked on their FM, Sustainability and Real Estate Team. While working for Walmart was wonderful experience there was still something missing. I decided it was time to return to my passion of residential sales selecting the best company in NWA, Keller Williams Market Pro. Partnering with my beautiful wife we formed “The Arvisais Group” aka The A-Team. Serving all of your real estate needs.
Real estate philosophy and almost famous moment.
I am a big believer in The Dave Ramsey debt free philosophy www.DaveRamsey.com. So much so, that I think this is something that should be a required course in all levels of education. I had an opportunity to participate in his show as a guest caller in the mid 2000’s. This was a time of over lending when the mortgage industry pushed no money down, 100% financing and teaser rates leading to the real estate bubble of 2008. I asked Dave how best to handle a dilemma where I knew a client was making a bad financial decision or could not afford to buy a home. Should I turn down earning a commission or risk angering a client knowing they would probably go to another agent and buy the same property anyway? Dave told me something I will never forget and helps guide me both personally and professionally. He said too many people chase the commission or the next deal rather than doing the right thing. If I felt in my heart my client was making a mistake it was my job to counsel them, and if they still wanted to move forward I had to decide if I wanted to help them make that mistake to earn a commission or politely part ways and have a clear conscience. He told me for every deal you lose doing the right thing you will be paid back in spades. His advice and guidance made perfect sense and has stuck with me to this day. It is the bases for how I approach everything in life and how we should treat people as more than just clients. We should treat people as we would family and always lookout for their best interest. In real estate terms this is called a fiduciary. In life’s terms it is the Golden Rule by which we live. Need to create and add bio plus photo
